Once again Reserve Engineers concentrated for intensive training during the Christmas – New Year break. This exercise has been conducted for some 30 years at Chilliwack, Wainwright, and Gagetown and formerly has been known as exercise Quarrel Jump.

The Camp Canada Fire Brigade (CCFB) and United States Air Force (USAF) Fire Service conducted a practical training session during the week leading up to Fire Prevention Week, Oct 6-12, 2019. The Sandwick Cairn was unveiled in 1922 and is dedicated to the memory of soldiers from the Comox region who served and died during the First World War, and later, the Second World War and Korea. It was constructed with stones brought from the farms of the families who lost loved ones.
