Fifteen cadets from the Chilliwack-based 1725 Royal Canadian Engineer Cadet Corpswill be travelling to Europe in April, primarily to visit Vimy Ridge as part of the 100th Anniversary of that great battle.

44 Field Squadron, based in Trail, BC supported the 31st Annual Gyros Polar Bear Swim yesterday. In preparation for the event, they build pathways to the river. On the day of the event, they helped sign-up participants and built a large fire the warm them after their plunge into the 40C water. Seventy-seven participants, including many from the Squadron, braved the Columbia's icy waters.

This article chronicles the last wish of Harold Moore who got to see Ottawa win another Grey Cup before he died on 11 December 2016. Harold died in Ottawa on 11 December 2016. He had served in the RCE from 1954 until retiring in 1967.
