We regret to advise of the death of (Joseph) Morris Arnold Gannon at the age of 83. Moe, a long-time resident of Prince George died peacefully on 29 March 2014 while visiting Seoul, South Korea with family. Moe was born in Kirkland Lake, ON in 1931 and enlisted in the Royal Canadian Engineers in the early 1950 in the hope of deploying to the Korean War. He served a full career with the Engineers Chilliwack, Gagetown, Germany and Camp Borden. After his retirement in Chilliwack in 1972, he spent a brief time in Kitimat and finally settled in Prince George in 1976. Moe and his wife worked with the Provincial Government until they established their own business. They were both actively involved with St. Mary's Parish and Moe was a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus. Prayers will be held at St. Mary's Church on Friday 11 April at 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be held at St. Mary's Church on Saturday 12 April at 10:30 a.m. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul in lieu of flowers.
