Harry Algar Tregaskes

    We regret to advise of the death of Harry AlgarTregaskes suddenly at Beechwood Court Retirement Residence in Mississauga ON on 31 July 2008 in his 97th year. 

    Harry graduated from Parkdale Collegiate in Toronto ON as well as the University of Toronto with an engineering degree.  He was a WW II veteran who served with the Royal Canadian Engineers.  After the war, he had a distinguished career with the Ontario Department of Highways before moving to the Toronto Transit Commission.

    Visitation will take place at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto on 6 August from 2 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m.  Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. {gdOct2016kh}
