Gaétan Morinville

    • LCol Gaetan Morinville

After 39 years of distinguished service to the Crown, Mr. Gaétan Morinville will be retiring from the Public Service on 21 August 2019.

Gaétan had a full career in the CAF – initially as a military Fire Fighter, and later as an Airfield/Construction Engineer – before transitioning to the Public Service in 2009.  He has served with the CFFM’s office on several occasions and was himself the CFFM from 2005 to 2008.  He has held the position of CFFM 4 (Fire Prevention Section Head) since 2010.  His experience in DND/CAF combined with his technical expertise in fire protection engineering has been invaluable, and he will be sorely missed!

A luncheon will be held in his honour on Friday, 26 July at the Heart and Crown Byward Market (73 Clarence St).  The celebrations will begin at 1230 hours, with presentations at approximately 1300 and lunch afterwards.  Please send any congratulatory messages or anecdotes to the OPI, LCol Goodman.  For those who are in the local area and wish to attend, RSVP to the OPI LCol Goodman by end of day Tuesday, 16 July.
