After more than 11 years of dedicated service in the Canadian Armed Forces, Master Corporal Claude-François Brassard exemplifies a professional career defined by consistency, versatility, and a strong sense of duty to Canada.
Master Corporal Brassard enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces on 14 January 2015 at the Chicoutimi Detachment of the Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre (CFRC Quebec). He subsequently completed his enrolment process and began his military career at the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School (CFLRS) in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, where he completed his Basic Military Qualification.
In July 2016, Master Corporal Brassard was posted to the 2nd Canadian Division Support Base Valcartier, in Courcelette, Quebec. He later served with the Real Property Operations Unit (Quebec), Valcartier Detachment, where he held various infrastructure support positions, including duties as a Water and Wastewater and Storage Systems Technician. During this period, he distinguished himself through his professionalism and adaptability, including periods of service while attached.
In October 2019, he was posted to Canadian Forces Base Bagotville, within the Alouette sector, where he assumed the role of Water, Fuels and Environmental Technician. This posting marked a significant milestone in his career, as he contributed directly to the maintenance, reliability, and operational readiness of infrastructure essential to air and military operations on the base.
Throughout his career, Master Corporal Brassard has demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the mission, a strong sense of responsibility, and steadfast dedication to his colleagues. His service reflects the values of a dependable, highly skilled, and proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
