Craig Braddon

Craig Braddon joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1987. Upon graduation from the Royal Military College of Canada in 1991, he completed his Military Engineer training in early 1992. Over his 32-year career, he served in three Engineer Regiments as Troop Commander, Squadron Commander and Deputy Commanding Officer. External to the field force, he served as the Army G34, the Canadian Joint Operations Command Joint Engineer, as a member of NATO’s Joint Forces Command Brunssum Joint Engineer division and at the Canadian Armed Forces Strategic Joint Staff.

He completed a Master of Arts (War Studies) in 2004 and the Canadian Armed Forces Joint Command and Staff Program in 2008. 

Following his retirement in 2019, Craig remained with Defence Team and accepted a position at the Strategic Joint Staff (SJS) as a member of the Strategic Planning team. He is currently a member of the SJS Europe/NATO Plans section.
Craig resides in Ottawa, with his family, where he hopes to remain engaged with the Canadian Military Engineers Association and supporting all the good work the CMEA does for serving and retired members and their families.
