On December 10, 2024, Corporal (Cpl) Jared Duncalf was promoted from Aviator to Corporal in the presence of the CO and RSM. Cpl Duncalf completed his Electrical Distribution Technician course at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering (CFSME) in 2023 and was subsequently posted to RPOU (W) Det Wainwright. Since then, Cpl Duncalf has participated in Exercise JURA SAPPER 24, completed countless hours of IIMS work orders to a high standard, and achieved 77% of his On-the-Job Training (OJT) book requirements towards his journeyman certification.

In addition to his technical achievements, Cpl Duncalf remains active as the Sports Representative for the unit in conjunction with Personnel Support Programs (PSP). He also actively supports Safety Committee initiatives, recently conducting a safety brief on fall arrest systems for the unit.
