    After more than 5 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Army and the Royal Canadian Engineers, Cpl Clayton Bushman,  (00339) will retire on 16 February 2025. A DwD reception will be held at the Maritime Club Junior Ranks Mess (CFB Gagetown) on 13 February 2025 beginning at 1300. Dress will be civilian attire (casual).     Clayton Bushman enrolled in the Canadian Army as a Combat Engineer in January 2020. Upon completing basic training in Saint-Jean, Quebec, and DP1 - Combat Engineer in Gagetown, New Brunswick, he was posted to 4 Engineer Support Regiment (4 ESR) in Gagetown.

    During his time at 4 ESR, he occupied the position of LAV 6.0 Driver in 1 Tp, followed by Combat Storesman and Local Purchasing/Ordering Rep in the 42 SQ, as well as LAV 6.0 Driver for 42 SHQ. He participated in Op LENTUS in Prince Edward Island during the 2022 hurricanes.

    Following his retirement from the CAF, Cpl Bushman will be returning to British Columbia with his partner, Stephanie Shelswell.
