We regret to advise of the death of Corporal Arnold Gesner Goodwin (Ret’d) of Dunnville ON on 22 June 2008 at the age of 85 years. Arnold was a Royal Canadian Engineer veteran of the Second World War.  

Arnold was born in Bair Verte NB. He enlisted  in 1941 and served overseas in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany with 2^nd Corps Troops, Royal Canadian Engineers. Arnold returned to Canada and was discharged in 1945.  He was a Life Member of the Army & Navy Club in Hamilton, the Royal Canadian Legion Dunnville Branch #142, a Mason, and belonged to other service clubs and organizations.

Friends will be received at Cresmount Funeral Home on 25 June from 2-4:00PM  and 7-9:00 PM. A Masonic Service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday 26 June at 1:00 PM with interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
