We regret to advise of the death of Captain Craig Joseph Quigley, CD (Ret’d), of St. John’s NL on 4 November 2025 at the age of 48.

Craig grew up in Torbay NL, and joined the Primary Reserve as a Sapper with 56th Field Squadron in St John's, NL, in 1998. Commissioned from the Ranks shortly after completing his Basic Leadership Qualification, he served with 37 Combat Engineer Regiment in St. John’s and was also a Firefighter with the  St. John’s Regional Fire Department.

Craig was a lifelong learner, always seeking higher education to better himself personally and professionally, and to help him guide others in their careers. He was a graduate of Columbia Southern University with a Bachelor of Fire Science, a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada with a Master of Public Administration, and countless courses and certifications related to his fire and military careers.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held at Caul’s Funeral Home on 6 November 2025. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Autism Society of Newfoundland. Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home.
