We regret to advise of the death of Aviator Zachery Thomas Duguid, suddenly 2 March 2022 in Oromocto NB at age 23.

Zachery was born in Barrie ON and spent his youth growing up there. He played for Thornton Minor Hockey, and played guitar as well as bass guitar. Zachary graduated from St. Joan of Arc High School in 2017. After taking time to decide on a career choice, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 2020. After graduating from Basic Training, Zachary was posted to the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering in Canadian Forces Base Gagetown NB where he was being trained as a Water, Fuels and Environmental Technician.

Family and friends may visit the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home & Chapel (127 Church St., Almonte ON, 613-256-3313) on Monday, 7 March 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Zachery’s Life will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm. The service can be watched virtually through Zoom.
