I enrolled in the Reserves as a member of 45 Field Engineer Squadron on 10 October 1996. Completed my BMQ and FELT courses. In 1997, completed my Field Engineer QL3 course in beautiful Chilliwack. In 1998, completed my Field Engineer QL5 course in Gagetown. In 2000, completed my JLC/JNCO course and was promoted to the rank of MCpl. In 2002, I completed my Field Engineer QL6A course and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. From 2002 and 2004, instructed Demolitions and Mine Warfare for RETS at CFSME. In September of 2004, I component transferred to the Regular Force as an RM Tech and completed my RM Tech QL3 part one course. Remained posted Base side in Gagetown. In 2006, completed my RM Tech QL4 course and was posted to Cold Lake. In 2007, completed my RM Tech QL5 course. Graduated the top candidate and with the peer award. In 2010, completed my RM Tech QL6A course. In 2014, graduated from the USAF Snr NCO Academy and was awarded a PLAR towards my ILQ. In 2015, completed my CE SUPT QL6B course. In 2019, completed my ALP course. Deployed overseas to the following locations: twice to Dubai Camp Mirage in 2008 and 2009, Afghanistan 2011, twice to the Ukraine in 2015; Kuwait 2015, Alert 2015, Erbil Iraq in 2016 and twice to Latvia in 2019 and 2020. Deployed on several operations inside of Canada such as the Ice Storms, Swiss Air Disaster and Hurricane Jaune. Postings included: BCE Gagetown 2004 -2006, BCE Cold Lake 2006 - 2013, 1 ESU Kingston 2013 - 2017, RP Ops Halifax 2017 - 2022, and CFSME Gagetown 2022 -2023, RP Ops Gagetown 2023 - current. Currently serving as the Real Property Operations Unit Atlantic Detachment Gagetown SM (RPOU(A) Gt DSM). Enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family. My wife Jennifer, my step- daughter Logan, my son Hayden, and dog Saul. Love to camp, hunt, fish, quad, and snowmobile.
