Veterans Disability Pension Indexing Error Class Action

A proposed class action suit has been filed against the Government of Canada concerning an error that was made in the calculation of Veterans Affairs Canada Disability Benefits payable for the period 2002 to 2010. The suit alleges the error was discovered by the Government in 2010, but not disclosed to veterans until 2017 as a result of a report by the Veterans Ombudsman.
