Clearly, the world moves quickly! After last week’s announcement, I am very pleased to write to you today in my new role as the Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs. A crowdfunding campaign has been setup to assist the families of slain military members Cpl Nathan Cirillo and WO Patrice Vincent.
The campaign, called the 'Stand on Guard Fund' initially sought $10,000 but organizers say they passed the initial goal in less than a day.
