In keeping with their tradition, the Ottawa Senators’ hockey managers once again organized an appreciation night for Canadian Forces members.
That is why hundreds of CF members from the very large region came to the Canadian Tire Centre to attend a game which pitted the Senators against the Winnipeg Jets.
Eleven CF members from the IE Group were invited (MCpl Martine Pellerin, MCpl Vincent Lareau, 2Lt David Carswell, Maj David Jane, Maj Kevin Poirier, Maj Allan Trenholme, Maj Alexandra Stastny-Farrelly, LCdr Dave Swann, LCol Thomas Gale, LCol Jérémie Emond and LCol Éric Fortin).
It was just too bad that the home team lost the hard-fought game 2-1.
