We regret to advise of the death of Firefighter Norman Gary Pleadwell on 28 December 2021, following his short battle with cancer. Norman served with the Garrison Petawawa Fire Hall for 33 years.

One of Canada's last veterans of the First World War, William 'Duke' Procter, died peacefully at the Oakside Manor residential care facility in Enderby, B.C. on 14 December 2005 at the age of 106.
