Sgt Tim Lovelace, CD

Sergeant Tim Lovelace will retire after nearly 17 years of service with the Canadian Forces (CF) on 14 January 2011.
In Sept of 1994 Tim enrolled in the CF, with the Algonquin Regiment in North Bay Ontario, after transferring to the Air Reserve and working in the underground complex he transferred again to the regular force, and stayed in North Bay until 1997.
In 1997 he was posted to CFB Petawawa with the ACT during this time Tim was deployed on the ICE Storm, Honduras with the DART Team and completed a tour of Kosovo.
In 2002 Tim was posted again this time to 14 Wing Greenwood, and promoted to MCpl. During his time in Greenwood Tim completed a tour of the Golan Heights in 2002/2003. Tim was also promoted to Sgt in 2004 while in Greenwood.
Tim was posted to his present position at CFB Kingston in 2008. He is planning on remaining in the Kingston area after his retirement, with his wife Karla.
