    Description

    Located on the Nappan Island Road, approximately 4.6 km East of Highway 30. The bridge spans the narrows between Burnt Point Bay and Lake Seymour in the Municipality of Trent Hills. ON. It is 6.55 m wide (including a 1.67 m wide pedestrian lane on the east side of the bridge).

    History

    The construction tender for a replacement bridge was awarded to National Structures 2011 of Napanee on December 1, 2020, and construction began on December 27, 2020. However, the company ran into financial trouble and was placed into receivership on December 16, 2021.. The municipality had to step in and complete construction. The total cost for the project as of December 31, 2023, was $1,725,981.39.
