Master Warrant Officer Darrell MacInnis enrolled in the Canadian Forces May 1989 in Halifax NS. After 21 plus years, Darrell has decided to take off the uniform, but remain part of DND and the Engineer Family. Securing a position within the Requirements cell in the CFB Halifax Formation Construction Engineering Section, he will start his second career 30 Aug 10 as an Assessing and Estimating Technician.

Darrell has greatly enjoyed his past 21 years in the CF, especially the last 17 years as an Engineer. Whether on course in Chilliwack or Gagetown, deployed to CFS Alert, Israel, Kosovo or Afghanistan, or on various training exercises, he is very proud to have been a part of the Canadian Forces and to have worked with some very extraordinary people.

Over his career, Darrell has been employed as a WFE Technician and Shop Supervisor, Mechanical Team Leader, Quality Assurance Inspector and CE Planning MWO, with postings to CFB Halifax, 14 Wing Greenwood, ASU Petawawa and lastly, back to CFB Halifax where Darrell is looking forward to putting down some roots, starting his new job, spending time with his daughter Madison and helping his lovely wife Diane, start her home daycare business.
