After over 26 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Forces and to his country, Cpl Kevin Bunz, CD1, will retire from the military on 11 May 09.

Cpl Bunz enrolled in the Canadian Forces on 03 February 1983 as an Infantryman with the 2nd Battalion PPCLI. In 2004 he transferred to the Engineers as a Plumbing and Heating Technician. Upon completion of QL3 he was posted to 19 Wing Comox. Upon His retirement Cpl. Bunz will continue his Plumbing career as a DND Civilian. Throughout his career, he has trained and been employed at a variety of postings in addition to Comox: Winnipeg Mb., CFB Gagetown N.B, Baden Soellingen Germany, As well, Cpl Bunz has served on a number of six-month deployments overseas: Former Yugoslavia, Bosnia, and Afghanistan.
