WO Douglas “Doug” Totten, CD (Ret’d)

    We regret to advise of the death of Warrant Officer Douglas “Doug” Totten, CD (Ret’d) at Aylesford NS on 7 May 2014 aged 73.

    Born in Saint John NB, Doug served 30 years as a Firefighter with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He travelled to many places in Canada and Europe with the RCAF and was especially proud of travelling every province in Canada from St. John’s, NL to Victoria, BC. Doug retired in 1990 as a Platoon Chief with 14 Wing Greenwood Fire and Emergency Service. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #98 Kingston.

    A legion tribute service will be conducted by Kingston Branch No. 98 at 2:00 PM on 12 May 2014 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street. Private family interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the Kingston Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s memory may be made to SPCA or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
