Promoted to Master Corporal in 1999, he was transferred in 2001 at CFB Trenton. He would remain there until 2004, leaving as a Sergeant. From Trenton, he was posted to his second sea tour HMCS HALIFAX until 2005 then transferred back to CFFA and received his Warrant Officer in 2005.

During his career, he deployed to the CFS Alert in 2000 as 2 1/C and a second time in 2002 as a Fire Chief “Smoky”.

Bruno will be closing off his successful regular force career at the end of Oct having served for 23+ years. He accepted a position as a Fire Inspector with the DND Fire Service in Kingston.

In 1991, he married Kelly and under the fogy moon light of Halifax harbour, Bruno and Kelly had their first child, Vanessa in 1993 and then came along Sophia in 1998. And let’s not forget about Freckles, the dog. Bruno, Kelly, Vanessa, Sophia, & Freckles, will move to Kingston.
