We regret to advise of the death of Warrant Officer B.A. “Bernie” Grant, CD (Ret’d) of Chilliwack BC, peacefully, on 29 September 2022 at age 91 years.

Born in Reserve Mines in Cape Breton NS, the youngest of 11 siblings, Bernie enlisted in the Royal Canadian Engineers in 1949. He then served a full career as an Administrative Clerk for 24 years. Bernie's military career included a deployment to Egypt in 1959-60 on the United Nations Emergency Force. 

After retirement from the Canadian Forces, Bernie was employed by the British Columbia Provincial Parks at Cultus Lake for 13 years.
