We regret to advise of the death of William George "Bill" Hanna, a Canadian Military Engineer veteran, on 12 July 2018 in Peterborough, ON.

Bill enrolled in the Canadian Forces in 1978 and, after completing his basic Combat Engineer training at Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering in Chilliwack, BC he was posted to 2 Combat Engineer Regiment in Petawawa, ON.  He spent almost 10 years in 2 CER and, after he retired from the Canadian Forces, he eventually moved back to Peterbourough where he worked in security.

A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday 22 July 2018 from 12:00 - 4:00 PM at the Lakefield Legion Br. #77, 10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield, ON. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The Lakefield Legion Br. #77. Friends may send condolences or make donations by contacting the Funeral Home.
