William “Bill” Kevol

We regret to advise of the death of William “Bill” Kevol peacefully in Calgary, AB on 14 April 2009 at the age of 88.
Bill was born in Ormiston SK. He was a WW II veteran who served in the Royal Canadian Engineers from 1942 – 1946. Following demobilization, he moved to Victoria BC and started his apprenticeship as a carpenter, where he worked for seventeen years. In 1964 he moved to Calgary where he worked for the City of Calgary for sixteen years until his retirement in the Parks Department as a cabinet maker, building picnic tables and renovating the historic Deane House in Fort Calgary.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway’s Park Memorial Chapel, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W., on 4 May at 2:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the Calgary Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Asthma Program at the Health Research Innovation Centre, 3330 Hospital Drive N.W., Calgary. A memorial tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park. {gdNov2016kh}
