We regret to advise the passing of Lance-Corporal Weldon Marshall "Bill" Bouleau (Ret'd) on 30 March 2021 in Port Alberni B.C. at the age of 90 years.

Bill was born in Arnprior ON. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Engineers and was stationed initially at Camp Chilliwack BC prior to being deployed to Korea. On his return to Canada, he married Kay Zinger, trained as an electrician and eventually settled in Port Alberni where he worked at the Alberni Plywoods.

Bill was an active member of various groups including the Knights of Columbus, the Legion and the Sunshine Club. He and Kay were both square dancers and ballroom dancers for many years, an activity they enjoyed until shortly before her death in 2011.

Gardening and fishing were two of his favourite past times. He also played hockey in a mill league, curled and played badminton in town groups. He enjoyed playing crib and pool at the Alana Club and the Legion.
