We regret to advise of the death of Walter E. Duncan of Carnduff, SK on 18 August 2005 at the age of 87 years.

Walter was born in Rosetown Sk. During the Second World War, he initially served in the Merchant Navy. In May 1942, he joined the Royal Canadian Engineers and served in the 22^nd and later the 20^th Field Company, in Northwest Europe. He was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Carnduff Branch #216.

He is buried in the Carnduff Cemetery.
