We regret to advise of the death of Stanley Molinski peacefully at Evergreen Residential Care House in North Vancouver, BC on 31 December 2009 at the age of 90 years.

Stanley was born in Brokenhead, MB and raised on the family farm before heading west - working his way across the prairies during the Depression. He was a veteran of the Second World War who served with the Royal Canadian Engineers.  After demobilization he settled in North Vancouver in 1946 where he started Stan's Hardwood Floors and developed a reputation as an outstanding craftsman, laying hardwood floors in hundreds of homes on the North Shore.

A private celebration of Stanley's life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society or the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, Vancouver.  ^{{gdMar2017dc} [zsd, zpp, zbd]}
