We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Urbain Gerard Doucet (Ret’d) of Weymouth, NS in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in Middleton, NS on 17 December 2009 at the age of 84 years.

Urbain was born in New Edinburgh, NS.  He was a Second World War veteran who served in the Royal Canadian Engineers.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Weymouth Branch #67.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM with prayers at 8:00 PM on 21 December in Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North.  A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM 22 December in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth.  Interment will be in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery. ^{{dcJan17gd} [zsd, zcc, zsp]}
