We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Mervyn Drew (Ret’d) at home in Ayres Cliff, QC on 29 April 2009 at the age of 89 years.

Drew was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Engineer who served in the Second World War with the 2^nd Field Park Company that served in both the Italian and Northwest European Campaigns. He was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ayer’s Cliff Branch #128,

The family will receive condolences on 3 May from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and again between 7:00  and 9:00 PM at the Cass Funeral Home in Ayer’s Cliff. The funeral service will be held on 4 May at 3:00 PM in the Beulah United Church. Donations to Drew’s memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128, c/o Norman Wintle, the Beulah United Church, both in Ayer’s Cliff, or to a charity of one’s choice.  ^{{dcJan17gd} [zsd, zcc]}
