We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Frank Leslie "Les" Stiles (Ret'd) of Sackville NB, unexpectedly at the Moncton Hospital on 31 July 2021 at age 81 years.

Les was born in Moncton NB and enlisted with the Royal Canadian Engineers in 1956 as a member of the 5^th Intake of the Sapper Apprentices. Graduating in 1958, Les served for ten years before he retired from the Canadian Forces. His service included a tour in 4 Field Squadron in Germany.

Les became a licensed auctioneer and refrigeration specialist. He was a jack-of-all-trades who continued to work until his passing. Les enjoyed building and running his food trucks throughout local events. A talented and accomplished musician, he played and sang in several bands right up until he passed away. Les was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge.  

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, 19 August 2021, from 6-8:00 pm. at the Jones Funeral Home (70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB).   A service celebrating the life of Les will be held at Jones Funeral Home on Friday, 20 August 2021 at 2:00 pm.
