We regret to advise the death of Sapper Cecil George Dennie (Ret’d) peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on 2 February 2009 in his 87^th year.

Cecil was a veteran of the Second World War and served in the Royal Canadian Engineers. He was a 60 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #34 in Orillia.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM on 5 February.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia on 6 February at 10:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. ^{{dcJan18gd} [zsd, zcc, zpp]}
