We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Andrew Laidler (Ret’d) of Calgary AB on 4 June 2002 at the Colonel Belcher Care Centre at the age of 95 years.

Born in High Newton-by-the-Sea, Northumberland, England, in 1906, Andrew enlisted in Second World War with the Canadian Army.  He served with the Royal Canadian Engineers in England and France.  Andrew was a Life Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1 Calgary.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens on 6 June 2002 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home.  Memorial tributes may be made in Andrew's name directly to the Calgary Health Trust for the Colonel Belcher Care Centre. ^{{dcMar2018gd} [zcc, zpp]}
