We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Alvin Joseph Doiron, CD (Ret’d) peacefully on 11 May 2009 at McNally House, Grimsby ON at the age of 79 years.

Alvin served with the Canadian Military Engineers for some 22 years in our field squadrons and much of it being in the Motor Transport Section. He served much of his career with 1 Field Squadron, Royal Canadian Engineers in Germany (1955 - 57) and in Petawawa, ON from where he retired. Al was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Port Hope, ON Branch #30.  

The family will receive friends at the Tallman Funeral Home 4998 King St., Beamsville on Thursday 2-4 and 7-8:30. A Legion funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15 at 11:00 in the Chapel. Donations to the McNally House, Grimbsy would be appreciated by the family ^{{gdMay2019dc} [zpp, zcc]}
