We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Alvin Dubois (Ret’d) on 24 September 2009 at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew, ON at the age of 84 years.

Alvin was a veteran of the Second World War who served in the Royal Canadian Engineers. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Renfrew Branch #148. 

Visitation will be at the Goulet Funeral Home in Renfrew between 2:00 and 4:00 PM and between 7:00 and 9:00 PM on 27 September. There will be a Legion Service of Tribute at 7:30 PM that same evening.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Mount St. Patrick, ON the following day at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be at the Holy Well Cemetery in Mount St. Patrick.  Donations may be made to the Bonnechere Manor Foundation or Renfrew Senior Home Support.
