We regret to advise of the death of Sergeant Stanley Wayne "Willie" Williston, CD (Ret’d)  at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on 25 March 2025 in his 76th year.

Willie served a 30-year career with the Canadian Military Engineers (1967 – 1997) as Combat Engineer, Heavy Equipment Operator, Airborne and Combat Diver.  May will remember him from his several tours in 1 Field Squadron ( 2 Combat Engineer Regiment) in Petawawa ON and with 4 Field Squadron (4 Combat Engineer Regiment) in Lahr Germany.

ACelebration of Life will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home {141 Renfrew St., Pembroke} on Saturday, 5 April 2025 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are invited to gather for a Legion Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home.
