Sgt Kim Boudreau, CD

Sgt Boudreau will be retiring after 21 plus years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Forces.
Sgt Boudreau joined the CF Regular forces in June 1986, under the YTEP program. Upon completion of recruit training at CFB Cornwallis, Kim proceeded to the wonderful CFFA School at CFB Borden for his QL 3 training from Jan 87 till Apr 87. After his QL 3 graduation Kim was posted to CFB Trenton until 1993. In summer 1993 Kim was posted to HMCS Huron Shore office and then HMCS Algonquin until 1996. After a short 3 year tour onboard ship Kim was posted to 15 Wing Moose Jaw for three years. In 1999 Kim was posted to 17 Wing Winnipeg. In Aug 2002 promoted to the rank of MCpl after another short posting Kim was posted back to 8 Wing Trenton. Since Kim was posted every 3 years, the CM didn’t want to break the pattern so again promoted to Sgt Kim was posted to CFB Borden in 2005 as a fire Service instructor.
Kim completed his Hazmat incident Commander course in Sept 2006 and Fire Prevention and Life Safety Inspector course in Feb 2008.
Sgt Kim Boudreau will take his release from the Canadian Forces on 29 May 08. Kim accepted a senior fire instructor position with Calian. Kim will remain at CFFA as Fire Service instructor. He will start work on 2 June 08. His wife Lisa, his son’s Thomas and Dayna will be remain in the Barrie area, and plan to support Kim’s decision.
