We regret to advise of the death of Firefighter Sergeant John Edward McGloin, CD (Ret’d) of Brandon MB on 20 June 2023 at the age of 83 years.

Formerly of Fredericton NB, John was born in Marysville NB. He served as a military Firefighter at locations that included Canadian Forces Base Greenwood before retiring from the Canadian Forces. John then worked as a public servant firefighter with the Department of National Defence Fire Service at Canadian Forces Station Yorkton SK as the Deputy Fire Chief and later at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown NB.

A Memorial Service was held on 23 June 2023 in Brandon MB. Interment followed at the Brandon Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home.
