Sgt Daniel Arseneault, CD

Sgt Daniel Arseneault, CD1, will retire from the CF in August 25th, 2010 after 23 years of loyal services.
Sgt Arseneault began his career in 1986 as reservist in the 2RNBR as infantryman. In the 1990s, he joined the Regular Forces as Naval Electronic Sensor Operator, sailing with HMCS Algonquin as well as the HMCS Iroquois before making a change of career in 1994 as Artilleryman. He then moved to 5 RALC in Valcartier.
1999 was the second change of career which brought him to CFSME Gagetown to complete the electrician's training followed by a posting to Bagotville until 2006. On August 14th, 2006, he was selected instructor at the ELRFC Saint Jean. He was promoted to Sgt and came back to Valcartier in the summer of 2009 within the Engineering Services as superintendent. He also participated in missions to Haiti in 1996 as well as Kabul in 2004.
Daniel, his wife Joëlle as well as their two children plan to live in the region for the moment. They wait impatiently for the beginning of Daniel's new civil career in real estate. We wish him good luck in his new career.
