Sgt A.Y. Kobrosly, CD

    After more than 16 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Military Engineer Branch, Sgt A.Y.     Sgt Adam Kobrosly enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 2009 and has been proudly serving with 4 Engineer Support Regiment since his posting is 2010. A dedicated member of the unit, Sgt Kobrosly has been heavily involved in domestic emergency response, deploying on Op LENTUS six times to provide crucial disaster relief across Atlantic Canada.

    His commitment to serve extends beyond national borders. In 2013, he completed the Heavy Equipment Operator course, a skill set that proved invaluable during his deployment with the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) to Nepal in 2015 after a devastating earthquake. During this mission, he utilized his expertise to aid in recovery/restoration efforts. That same year, Sgt Kobrosly also deployed on Op UNIFIER, serving as a Heavy Equipment Section 2I/C.

    More recently in 2023, his heavy equipment knowledge was critical to Op REASSURANCE, where they served as the Heavy Equipment Recce for Camp Selija construction.
