We regret to advise of the death of Roy George Bowman in Saskatoon, SK on 10 November 2009 at the age of 89. 

Roy was born in Humboldt, SK in 1920.   In 1941 he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Engineers and was posted to 9 Field Squadron with whom he served overseas in Northwest Europe until the summer of 1945.  After his return to Canada and demobilization Roy worked on farms or driving trucks until he retired in 1980. 

A memorial service will be held on 14 November 2009 at Park Funeral Chapel, Saskatoon, with interment in the Garden of Christus Court at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Ward of St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon.
