    We regret to advise the death of Ronald James Gourley, BEM, CD, PEng (Ret'd) of Kingston ON, on 26 November 2014.

    Ronald was born in Parry Sound ON. He was a veteran of the Second World War and served as a Navigator in the Royal Canadian Air Force at the rank of Pilot Officer. After the war, Ronald completed a degree in Civil Engineering at Queen's University in 1949 and joined the Royal Canadian Engineers. After leaving the Army, Ronald worked as a Municipal Engineer for the City of Ottawa and the Regional Municipality of Ottawa–Carleton, and as Chief Administrative Officer the City of Whitehorse.

    Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred beside his mother in St. John's Cemetery in Gananoque ON. {dcJan20, wrd} [zsd, zpp]
