We regret to advise of the death of Richard “Dick” John Gosick on 9 September 2012 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 77. 

Dick was born on the family farm in Saskatchewan.  He joined the Royal Canadian Engineers as a Field Engineer and after his training in the 1960s was posted to 3 Field Squadron in Chilliwack, BC.  While in Chilliwack, he qualified as a heavy equipment operator and was attached to Park Troop.  On leaving the military, Dick settled in Yarrow, BC and went to work for the Canadian Penitentiary Service. 

Visitation will be held on 13 September from 6- 8 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home with Funeral Services arranged for 14 September at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave. Chilliwack. Interment to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Cemetery, Chilliwack.  Celebration of Life to follow at 4:30 pm at the Sardis Old Age Pensioners Organization Seniors Centre, 5725 Tyson Rd, Sardis.^{{gdDec2016kh}  [zsd]}
