Master Warrant Officer Michael Dubois joined the Canadian Armed Forces on 07 November 2002 as a Private in the Canadian Army Reserves with 45 Field Engineer Squadron. After more than 18 years of loyal and dedicated service to Canada, he officially retired on 12 March 2021.
Master Warrant Officer Dubois completed many career courses and taskings at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineer in Oromocto, New Brunswick, gaining skills and knowledge that he didn’t hesitate to share with his peers and subordinates. When not on a tasking or course, he dedicated his time to 45 Field Engineer Squadron, holding different positions over the years from section member to section commander to Troop Warrant Officer, eventually becoming the Squadron Sergeant Major.
Like many Reservists, MWO Dubois balanced his military and civilian lives. He attended NSCC Marconi Campus obtaining Cabinet-making certificates and later opening his own business.
Following retirement, MWO Dubois has continued to run his business and to do what he loves. He resides in Leitches Creek, Nova Scotia, with his wife, Kristen, and daughters, Zoey and Brielle.
