Master Warrant Officer Craig Garrett joined the Canadian Armed Forces in March 1993 as an Infantry reservist in the 2nd Battalion Royal New Brunswick Regiment (North Shore). He joined the Engineers as a Construction Tech in July 2002. After more than 24 years of loyal and dedicated service to Canada, he retired on 17 July 2022.

As a civilian carpenter, becoming a Construction Tech was a natural path for MWO Garrett. MWO Garrett completed tours in Afghanistan and Kuwait as well as TAVs to CFS Alert, the Canadian Embassy in Cuba, Operational Support Hub Jamaica, and twice to Latvia. Numerous opportunities to travel Canada and the world gave MWO Garrett a very rewarding career.

Upon retirement, MWO Garrett will continue to reside in Fredericton, NB, with his wife, Sylvie, and four their children, Brianne, Abigail, Kirkland and Ashlynn. Craig will continue to work as a technical instructor at CFSME.
