We regret to advise of the death of Master Warrant Officer Wayne E. Fox, CD (Ret'd) of Harvey, NB on 24 February 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a short illness.

Wayne was born in Fredericton, NB in 1945 and raised there. He served a full career with the Canadian Military Engineers that included postings to 3 Field Squadron, Chilliwack (1973-74), 22 Field Squadron, Gagetown for several postings and his tour with 45^th Field Squadron in Sydney, NS where he was Squadron Sergeant Major (1996-97). Wayne retired as Master Warrant Officer in 22 Field Squadron in 1991.

Wayne was a member of the Fredericton Branch 4, Royal Canadian Legion, Cherry Mountain Masonic Lodge #50 and was a Shriner. 

A visitation time will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Tuesday, 27 February 2018 from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. At 2 p.m. members of Cherry Mountain Lodge #50 and others will conduct a memorial service. A reception will follow at Cherry Mountain Lodge, 8 Candlelight Lane, Harvey Station, NB. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Wayne, the family has suggested Camp Goodtime, a camping experience suitable to the needs of children with a history of cancer.
