We regret to advise of the death, after a lengthy illness, of Master Warrant Officer John Francis Gow, CD (Ret’d) in Chilliwack BC on 24 February 2009 at the age of 76.

John was born in Kingston ON and in 1948 at the age of 16 years joined the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Engineers. After a 26-year career he retired with the rank of Master Warrant Officer. He was then employed by the Canadian Government, first with Transport Canada and then with Public Works, retiring in 1987 after 39 years of service to his country. John settled in Kelowna BC but in 2005 relocated to Chilliwack. He was an avid reader and history buff.

There will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. ^{{gdMar2016kh}}
