We regret to advise of the death of Master Warrant Officer Jack Nickle, CD (Ret’d) in Chilliwack BC on 6 April 2022 at the age of 82 years.

Jack served a full 32-year military career as a Field Engineer with the Canadian Military Engineers. His career started in Chilliwack BC and postings during his military career included 4 Field Squadron in Germany, with the Regular Support Staff in Sydney NS,1 Field Squadron in Petawawa ON, then back to Chilliwack in 1980. Following his retirement from the Canadian Forces, Jack was the Grounds Supervisor at Canadian Forces Base Chilliwack for 15 years. 

A celebration of life for Jack and his wife Lydia  will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, 17 July 2023 at the Legion in Vedder Crossing.  Condolences can be sent to The Chilliwack Progress.
