We regret to advise of the death of Master Warrant Officer ​Gérard “Gerry” Martineau, CD (Ret’d) on 18 April 2020 in Montreal QC.

Gerry was former member of the 3^rd Field Engineer Regiment (now 34^e Regiment de Génie de Combat/34 Combat Engineer Regiment) in Montreal. Gerry started his career in the Reserves with the Regiment de Maisonneuve and returned to that unit after more than 10 years with 3^rd Field Engineer Regiment. In 2002, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee Medal. After retirement Gerry served for 13 years with the Commissionaires du Québec.
